Spring is a great time of year. It is a time of year that we think about renewal, birth and freshness. Or at least I think of these thing. Many of us may think about spring as a time to do a deep cleaning like when were children. My mom cleaned the house from top to bottom in the spring. Nothing in our home was left untouched. It was the time to clear surfaces, clean underneath things, remove the old and bring in the new. There was always a sense of calm and frehness after the house was spring cleaned.
This year as you think of spring and spring cleaning think of it differently…think in terms of clearing clutter not only from your space but from your mind and body too. Are there beliefs that no longer serve you that are getting in the way of your goals or are there things on your to do list that are no longer important. Clear them away. Are there healthy habits that you want to adopt and yet you continue cluttering your body with food it doesn’t need. Clear away the food and recipes that no longer assist you in achieving a healthy eating plan. Commit to simplifying your eating and exercise routines so they stick.
Take action now! Commit to clutter busting and spring cleaning…out with the old and in with the new….thoughts, habits and actions and a some stuff too while you are at it.
