I just completed week three of my “Couch to 5k” program.
Running with a group does make a difference…for me anyway. It motivates me to show up and it motivates me to keep up with the training between group sessions.
But what was I thinking doing this program in the summer…and what a hot summer. Some days have been challenging especially when I have trained mid-day or late afternoon.
With this training program I have learned the importance of staying hydrated. As life coach, Janet, posts it is especially important during the extremely hot weather that Michigan has been experiencing.
So be sure to keep hydrated and enjoy the weather. I am.
