So how do you measure success? When is done done?
I started my journey a year ago…getting rid of the clutter from my basement (yes, even the clutter coach has to get rid of clutter every once in a while). It was a personal journey that I thought I would share with my readers and clients. A lot has gotten done:
o My disaster box is updated.
o I have tossed old papers and files no longer needed.
o I have a pile of boxes ready for the garage sale in June.
o I have all my seasonal decorations in one location now and everything is put away and in place. [click to continue…]

I wanted to take a step back for a moment because I realized that I described my feelings as those of embarrassment about having clutter. Sometimes clutter does cause feelings of embarrassment for an individual. There could also be feelings of discouragement, frustration, a sense of being overwhelmed, anger, resentment and a feeling of being incompetent to name a few.
I used the word embarrassment because I felt that I was not “walking the talk”. I was able to help others dig out from their cluttered bodies, minds and spaces while my clutter was collecting.
The important lesson here is to identify clutter and how it makes you feel. Then envision how you want to feel and set up an action plan to achieve a clutter-free life.
I use my life coach to help me focus on what’s important to me…clutter busting being one of the topics we cover. I would like to opportunity to work with you to see if life coaching can help you clear chaos from your life.
